Purdue @ Nevada

And while we don't have an easy schedule, we do start the season with a doable road trip to Reno. Nevada v Purdue Nevada had a great season last year, going 8-5 and winning the Arizona Bowl against Arkansas St.  Last season they had a pretty balanced offense while keeping opposing teams to under 250 yards passing and 150 yards rushing. This season will be different the wolf pack will most likely look towards their run game as they will have a red shirt freshmen QB who hasn't played a collegiate game in his life start against Purdue. Purdue had a roller coaster of a season, going 6-7 with a blowout loss to Auburn in the Music City Bowl. Purdue last season relied on their passing game for offensive production as they just simply couldn't generate a run game each week. This season will be the same thing as Purdue's depth at

Midweek Madness

The hunt for the playoffs starts today. With just under 2 weeks before the start of the 2019-20 season. And we have a chance for some pretty good football to start this season. Louisville v #9  Notre Dame Notre Dame is entering this season hoping to repeat another Playoff berth with a more positive outcome, while Louisville is looking for a spark with a first year head coach. The odds are stacked against the Cardinals as their defense was absolutely atrocious especially  the the run game. The best part for Louisville is that they return almost everybody. Notre Dame lost Brandon Wimbush to UCF, but with Ian Book being the starter, it wont mater, although they do loose some depth at the QB position making it a bit thin. But outside of that they outperform Louisville on both offense and defense. While Notre Dame is losing some good players in very important positions, this will still be an elite team, and I don't see Louisville getting it done under a first year coach. Notre D
